About Jan Thorhauge Frederiksen: Associate professor in Education at University of Copenhagen. Currently working on two larger projects: Quality in Higher education – different forms and prerequisites, and Student identity and study practices. Other research areas: sociology of professions, educational inequality, higher education and dropout, professional training, welfare work and welfare professions, geometrical data analysis, mixed methods methodology.
