SeniorsKS - Seniors in the modern Knowledge Society

SeniorsKS is a Learning Partnership being sponsered by LIFELONG LEARNING, GRUNDTVIG. 10 European countries with 10 different institutions dealing with older learners were involved and fulfilled spesific tasks during 24 months. In Graz we want to summeraze the various efforts.What has been done?

We shared and exchanged best practices and activities in which each organisation had spesific experience in the context of ICT education for older persons.

We improved and designed and redesigned courses, activities or processes that supports the e-inclusion of seniors

We promoted cooperation between institutions of common interest,

facilitated the transfer of information and disseminated the results.

Last not least we discussed the actual place of seniors in our modern societies. What is there input and what do older people gain being part of the Knowledge Society.
