Europeana Cloud - New Spaces for Sharing Content

Europeana Cloud is a Best Practice Network, coordinated by The European Library, designed to establish a cloud-based system for Europeana and its aggregators. Content providers and aggregators across the European information landscape urgently need a cheaper, more sustainable infrastructure that is capable of storing both metadata and content, and dealing with the associated licencing issues. The workshop will introduce the project and will work with the audience to find out what kind of shared infrastructure could help them manage and curate their digital materials.
