The master’s programme in Early Childhood Education is the first and only one of its kind in Austria. A distinctive feature of this programme is that a large proportion of the course is taught online, combined with blocks of face-to-face teaching. This makes it possible to study alongside working or if you live far away from the place of study.

In this study programme, you will examine how the learning of young children can best be structured and supported. You will engage with both theoretical and practical aspects of children’s development and educational equality, and with the influence of (digital) media on children’s development.
