FAQs about flExam

flExams are marked as such in the exam description in UNIGRAZonline. In addition, your lecturers should have informed you about the exam conditions if you are registered for the course. If you are unsure, you can ask your lecturer or email flexam(at)uni-graz.at.

All flExams are being held on campus.

flExams usually take place in the Schuhmeister examination room (0033EG0100) at the Wall University Center, Merangasse 70, 8010 Graz on the first floor. However, you can also find the location in UNIGRAZonline.

Yes, exam registration on UNIGRAZonline is a prerequisite for booking your slot via flexam.uni-graz.at.

No! The date shown in UNIGRAZonline is only a placeholder date and not your exam date. You can book your individual exam date ("slot") at flexam.uni-graz.at.

After registering for the exam in UNIGRAZonline, you can book your individual exam date ("slot") at flexam.uni-graz.at.

If another examination date still has free slots, you can rebooked your slot via flexam.uni-graz.at.

In principle, one slot per examination is provided. For reasons of fairness to other students, multiple bookings should be avoided. Once booked, slots can easily be rebooked or canceled via flexam.uni-graz.at.

The deregistration deadline can be found in UNIGRAZonline. If it is no longer possible to deregister from the examination date in UNIGRAZonline, simply deregister from your slot. You will be automatically deregistered if you do not attend after the end of the bundle.

You need to deregister from your slot via flexam.uni-graz.at and also from the exam via UNIGRAZonline.

Please note: Cancellation of the slot does not result in automatic deregistration from the exam in UNIGRAZonline.

With flExam, you can take your exams more flexibly in terms of time. On the one hand, exam slots are available to you over several days at different times and on the other hand, flExam allows lecturers to make exam dates available almost every month.

In order to take an exam via flExam, you must first register for the exam on UNIGRAZonline. Once you have done this, you can book your individual slot on flexam.uni-graz.at. You then appear in the specified examination room on the date you have chosen and take your digital exam there as usual. You will receive the results from your lecturers after they have entered them on UNIGRAZonline.

Each lecturer decides for themselves which aids (e.g. calculators, documents, etc.) are permitted. These are known to the exam supervisors and only these may be used for the exam.

As always, any kind of cheating (including attempts) will be reported to the relevant lecturer without exception.

If you have any questions or problems, please email flexam(at)uni-graz.at
