Depending on your choice of study programme, a certain number of your credit points will come from elective courses. This means students can opt either to extend their subject knowledge or to gain additional qualifications and skills. There is a wide range to choose from.

Additional qualifications available to humanities students include business certificates, for example. These provide opportunities to learn practical skills that will be valued in any company.

Another option is the internationally oriented module “Global window”, which focuses on cross-cultural skills and issues of globalisation.

NAWI Graz master’s students can select interdisciplinary modules from a catalogue of elective courses teaching valuable knowledge and skills. The topics available for these modules range from law and business administration to gender issues in the sciences.

Master’s Plus

Even more future? With the new master’s modules, you can turn your master’s programme into a Master’s Plus. To be exact, this means that in two semesters you can work intensively on a future topic of your choice – be it communications, entrepreneurship or climate change.
