Become a teacher – shape the future
The teacher training programme is organised and provided jointly by eight institutions working on a collaborative basis in the South-East Development Network (EVSO). In this study programme you will benefit from the combined strengths of all these institutions, and a broad range of study options. Your first school experience takes place as early as the second semester!
For the teacher training programme you must select at least two subjects or one subject as well as a specialist area of education.
Physics as a teaching subject at the University of Graz
In this programme, you will study fundamental sub-areas of physics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, and optics. You will learn subject-specific teaching methodology, and be given a thorough grounding in scientific practice and experimentation for classroom teaching. The distinctive feature of this study programme is the way subject knowledge is interlinked with specialist teaching methodology.
