For admission to the master’s programme you must have already completed a subject-relevant first degree.
General Secondary Level Teacher Training at the University of Graz
In this study programme you will be taught everything you need to know for your future career in teaching. You will study teaching methodology, current research into teaching and education, and subject-specific research issues.
Doctoral programme in Teaching Methodology
The Doctoral programme in Teaching Methodology allows you to develop your own research interests further and to perfect your methodological skills. You will work independently to investigate academic questions and contribute to the development of knowledge and innovation in your subject area.
Preparation for a wide range of career paths
As a graduate of the master’s programme in General Secondary Level Teacher Training you will be qualified to work in lower and upper secondary schools. You will also be able to work in general and vocational school-based continuing education or in non-school educational institutions.
Anyone who is not a graduate of the subject-relevant bachelor’s programme at the University of Graz has to apply for admission to the master's programme.
