Interdisciplinary Master's Programme
Climate change is one of the great challenges of our times. To avoid dangerous changes, and to adapt to unavoidable changes, societies need to transform towards zero emissions and climate resilience. These transformations require both an understanding of the climate system and knowledge of economic and social relationships, processes and dynamics.
Our interdisciplinary Master's Program perfectly equips you for this challenge: It is unique in that you can choose a clear focus in either natural or social sciences, but at the same time learn to collaborate across disciplinary boundaries, to understand each other's research problems and approaches. Thereby, you develop both a deep understanding, but at the same time also an interdisciplinary practical experience which is essential to succeed in the complex field of climate change and social transformation.
