Studierende der REWI nehmen am Moot Court für Umweltrecht teil

Arbeiten als JuristIn, unter realen Bedingungen, aber im Rahmen eines fiktiven Gerichts: ein so genannter "Moot Court" bietet die Studierenden der Rechtswissenschaften die Möglichkeit ihr Wissen und Verhandlungsgeschick im Gerichtssaal unter Beweis zu stellen. Beim erstmals durchgeführten Moot Court "Umweltrecht" vertreten die vier StudentInnen Chiara Rockenschaub, Miriam Karl, Maria Buchner und Luca Mischensky die Universität Graz. Betreut werden sie von Univ.-Prof. Dr. Stefan Storr und Univ.-Prof. Dr. Karl Stöger vom Institut für Österreichisches, Europäisches und Vergleichendes Öffentliches Recht, Politikwissenschaft und Verwaltungslehre in Zusammenarbeit mit der Rechtsanwaltskanzlei Eisenberger & Herzog.

Beim Moot Court "Umweltrecht",an dem auch andere österreichische REWI-Fakultäten beteiligt sind, geht es darum, ein Genehmigungsverfahren für ein Wasserkraftwerk wie im Ernstfall durchzuspielen. Das Grazer-Team hat in der Funktion "Umweltanwaltschaft" den Schriftsatz erstellt und bei der "zuständigen Behörde", die wiederum von einem Studierenden-Team betreut wird, eingebracht!
