Ergebnisse der Grazer Ringvorlesung wurden im Jahrbuch für Museologie und museale Quellenkunde veröffentlicht

Unter dem Titel „Tücke des Objekts“ widmete sich im Sommersemester 2013 eine Ringvorlesung am Institut für Geschichte der Uni Graz aus verschiedenen Perspektiven der Bedeutung des musealen Ausstellungsstücks. Die Ergebnisse dieser Veranstaltungsreihe sind nun im Jahrbuch „Curiositas. Zeitschrift für Museologie und museale Quellenkunde“ erschienen. AutorInnen der Publikation sind Mag. Kurt Zernig und Mag. Valentin Delic vom Universalmuseum Joanneum, Dr. Susanne König-Lein vom Institut für Alttestamentliche Bibelwissenschaft der Uni Graz sowie Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Marlies Raffler, Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Reisinger und Dr. Bernadette Biedermann vom Institut für Geschichte der Karl-Franzens-Universität.

Präsentiert wurde der aktuelle Band (12-13) am 5. Juni 2014 im Rahmen der diesjährigen Ringvorlesung „Museen neu denken – Museen neu gestalten“, im Anschluss an den Vortrag von Volker Schimpff, Hochschullehrer an der FH für Museologie in Leipzig und Mit-Herausgeber der „Curiositas“.

Bernadette Biedermann und Susanne König-Lein, die Organistorinnen der heurigen Ringvorlesung, laden in diesem Semester noch zu drei spannenden Vorträgen ein:

  • Heute, am 12. Juni, spricht Karin Leitner-Ruhe vom Universalmuseum Joanneum zum Thema Provenienzforschung.
  • Am 26. Juni betrachtet Nikolaus Reisinger das Museum als Ort der Selbst(er)findung und
  • am 3. Juli gibt Valentin Delic, Möbelrestaurator im Universalmuseum Joanneum, Einblicke in die kunsttechnologische Forschung.
