The programme brings together the expertise of Ruhr University Bochum, the University of Graz and Paul Valéry University of Montpellier. Through compulsory study periods at all three locations, you will gain international experience, improve your language skills and explore the languages, cultures and societies of the Mediterranean region.

To be admitted, you’ll need French language skills at C1 level and German language skills at B2 level.

About the study programme

During your degree, you will study the languages, literatures and cultures of the Mediterranean region – from both a historical and a contemporary perspective. There is a particular focus on developing your knowledge of French, as well as on topics such as sociolinguistics and digital humanities. By studying at three European universities, you will gain a wide range of academic and intercultural experiences.
