Earth Sciences at the University of Graz

Earth Sciences study the formation and structure of our planet and life on it. Research interests range across billions of years and all scales, from atomic structures to global developments. This fundamental knowledge is applied and used for instance in the development and safeguarding of resources, in the construction engineering sector, or in global climate reconstructions.
