Classical Philology at the University of Graz
In this bachelor’s programme you will study the full range of text types from Latin or Greek literature (depending on your language focus), learn about their authors and consider their literary, historical and sociocultural contexts. By networking with other disciplines of relevance to classical studies you will explore various different approaches and perspectives.

The master’s programme in Classical Philology builds directly on the bachelor’s programme, broadening and intensifying the knowledge and skills already acquired. At the University of Graz you also have the option of interdisciplinary master’s programmes and joint programmes, allowing further scope for individualised and specialised learning.
