The uniIT service desk team supports students with advice and practical assistance for any technical difficulties. From setting up and managing your Uni Graz account to questions about online learning platforms – help is at hand here!
Most students use the Moodle online learning platform regularly. If you have any difficulties with accessing learning materials, for example, or questions about enrolling for a course, you can consult ASK, the digital assistant. Just key in your question!
One particularly useful service from uniIT is that students can obtain software here, either free of charge or at heavily discounted prices, for use on their own computers. To be eligible for these offers, you must have an active Uni Graz account. ASK – the digital assistant – is available at any time in case of questions.
If you have an active account in UNIGRAZonline and a valid UNIGRAZCard there are numerous multi-function machines you can use for printing, scanning and copying. You also need a printer voucher, which can be loaded at the Students’ Union (ÖH) service centre.
On campus, students can use wifi to access the university network free of charge. All you need is an active Uni Graz account.
To access e.g. electronic library resources from outside the campus, you need a secure connection, which can be created using a VPN service.

There are study desks with PCs at the university which students can use. Many of these are in the various branches of the university library. There are also many other devices on campus in publicly accessible locations.
