Die Germanistin Karin Kranich steigt im Team Lehrende für die GEWI in den Brain Game-Ring

Karin Kranich vom Insitut für Germanistik verlässt sich auf ihren persönlichen Wissensspeicher

Am kommenden Dienstag, 27. November 2012, gibt es wieder Spannung und Spaß in der Aula der Uni Graz. Dann treten sechs Lehrende wieder gegen sechs Studierende beim Wissensquiz "Brain Game" gegeneinander an. Wir stellen in den nächsten Tagen sechs KandidatInnen, jeweils drei aus beiden Teams, vor.

Ich finde solche Initiativen, die das "trockene" und betont um Seriosität bemühte Uni-Flair etwas auflockern, immer interessant und wichtig. Es darf - zumindest hin und wieder - durchaus "menscheln" und lustig zugehen, denke ich als alte Anhängern der "Fröhlichen Wissenschaft"."

Spezialgebiet? Ich bin Geisteswissenschafterin - Germanistin/Mediävistin, daraus ergibt sich ein gewisses Fachwissen, das aber bei Brain Game nicht unbedingt hilfreich sein muss. Aber man weiß ja nie, was man in seinem Wissenspeicher anfindet, wenn akut etwas gefragt ist - im schlimmsten Fall nichts."
