Where is the RESOWI library? How do I register for a course? And what does HS 15.14 mean? These and many other questions will be answered during the "Welcome Weeks" at the University of Graz in September.

In the first half of September, there are many online sessions on the program where first-semester students can get lots of information about studying.
Just in time for the start of the semester in October, numerous in-person events are then planned to make it easier to start studying. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get to know your new colleagues: at a games evening, sports tournaments or a party.

The exact program is currently being worked out. The latest information will be available here https://welcomeweeks.uni-graz.at

When parents find it difficult to have a say

In her dissertation, translation scholar Marie Tschurtschenthaler examines how communication between compulsory schools and parents whose first language is not German works – and what role professional language mediation plays in this.
