Absolventin der Uni Graz erzielt Otto-Borst-Preis für ihre Diplomarbeit

Die Slawistin und Architektin Daniela Zupan erhielt für ihre Abschlussarbeit mit dem Titel "Urbanistische Ideen im sowjetischen und postsowjetischen Russland am Beispiel Perm" den Otto-Borst-Preis für die beste Diplomarbeit in den Bereichen Stadtgeschichte, Stadtsoziologie, Denkmalpflege und Stadtentwicklung. Dieser in Deutschland verliehene Preis verhilft der Uni-Graz-Absolventin außerdem zu einem Doktoratsstipendium am Städtebau-Institut der Universität Stuttgart und einer Anstellung in einem großen Architekturbüro in Berlin .

In der prämierten Arbeit kombinieret die mehrsprachige Architektin kulturhistorische Aspekte mit urbanistischen Überlegungen.
