Hohe Beteiligung von Studierenden beim Europäischen Forum in Tirol

"Erwartungen – Die Zukunft der Jugend“: Unter diesem Motto tagt noch bis 1. September 2012 das europäische Forum Alpbach. Die Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz beteiligt sich auch heuer wieder an dieser hochkarätig besetzten Veranstaltung in den Tiroler Bergen auf verschiedenen Ebenen.

Rektorin Christa Neuper präsentierte mit ihren Rektorenkollegen Harald Kainz (TU Graz) und Josef Smolle (Med Uni Graz) die neue Kooperation und Forschungsinitiative für Gesundheit „BioTechMed Graz“. WissenschafterInnen der Uni Graz, darunter Soziologe Manfred Prisching, Rechtswissenschafter Johannes Pichler und Erziehungswissenschafterin Cornelia Wustmann und viele andere mehr, hielten Impulsreferate oder waren Vorsitzende von Arbeitsgruppen.

Etwa 50 Studierende unter der Delegationsleitung von Rechtswissenschafter Klaus Poier, Generalsekretär des Club Alpbach Steiermark, nahmen im Zuge von Stipendien an der Konferenz teil und brachten ihre Erwartungen an die Zukunft Europas ein.
