Zulassungstest fix für die Bachelor-Studien Pharmazie, Molekularbiologie und Psychologie. Biologie enscheidet sich Ende Juli

Am Freitag, den 15. Juli 2016, endeten an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz die Registrierungsfristen für das Studienjahr 2016/17 für die Bachelorstudien Biologie, Molekularbiologie, Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften und Psychologie.

Nach Abschluss der Registrierung wird nun, nachdem sich mehr StudienwerberInnen registriert haben als Studienplätze zur Verfügung stehen, die erste Stufe des Aufnahmeverfahrens gestartet.

Aufnahmeprüfungen wird es definitiv in den Fächern Bachelor Pharmazie, Bachelor Molekularbiologie sowie für das Bachelorstudium Psychologie geben. Ob auch für das Bachelorstudium Biologie ein Test stattfinden wird, entscheidet sich erst nach Ende der Vervollständigungsfrist, die bis zum 31. Juli 2016 anberaumt ist. Die Zulassungsprüfungen finden Ende August/Anfang September an der Uni Graz statt. Die StudienwerberInnen werden Anfang August gesondert per E-Mail verständigt.

Zweistufiges Aufnahmeverfahren: Online-Self-Assessment
Alle registrierten StudienwerberInnen für die studienplatzgeregelten Fächer Biologie, Molekularbiologie und Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften müssen nun verpflichtend bis Ende Juli ein Online-Self-Assessment im Bewerbungstool absolvieren, um für eine Aufnahmeprüfung im September zugelassen zu werden.
Für die Bachelor- und Masterstudien Psychologie ist dieser Schritt nicht notwendig. Ob für das Masterstudium Psychologie eine Aufnahmeprüfung angesetzt wird, wird noch gesondert bekannt gegeben.

Rescue and risks: Researchers have surveyed public perceptions of AI

The use of artificial intelligence has had to be made transparent since 2 August 2026. The EU’s AI Act, which has been in force since then, also sets out how risky an application is and which security measures apply as a result. However, the assessment of risks by the legislation differs in some cases significantly from the perceptions of the Austrian public. Chronic inflammation plays a key role in many diseases, ranging from metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases to tissue damage following injuries or infections. “Normally, the body is able to resolve inflammation on its own. If this process becomes unbalanced, immune cells remain permanently active and continue to drive negative changes in the tissue,” explains Andreas Koeberle, a pharmacist at the University of Graz.
