Institut für Systemwissenschaften der Uni Graz kooperiert mit dem Austrian Institute of Technology

Gute Nachrichten für Studierende der Systemwissenschaften an der Uni Graz. Dank einer neuen Kooperation des Instituts für Systemwissenschaften, Innovations- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung (ISIS) mit dem Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) werden nun jedes Semester Masterarbeiten und Dissertationen zu ausgeschriebenen Themen nachhaltiger Innovation und Infrastruktur gefördert. Der Fokus richtet sich dabei auf Mobilität und Verkehr, Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien sowie Energie und Ressourcen. Die erste Ausschreibung läuft bereits.

Im Rahmen des SIIP (Sustainable Innovation Oriented Infrasstructure Policy)-Programms werden Masterarbeiten mit monatlich 366 Euro brutto auf maximal ein halbes Jahr und Dissertationen mit monatlich 1.500 Euro brutto auf maximal drei Jahre gefördert. Die JungwissenschafterInnen erhalten einen freien Dienstvertrag mit einem Arbeitsplatz am AIT und sind in die laufende Forschung eingebunden.

„Diese Kooperation ist eine ideale Möglichkeit, an aktuellen Themen im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit und Infrastruktur zu forschen und bietet den Studierenden ausgezeichnete Rahmenbedingungen für ihre Dissertation oder Masterabeit“, freut sich Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rupert J. Baumgartner, Leiter des ISIS. Die Themen für die Ausschreibung werden vom ISIS und dem AIT gemeinsam erarbeitet.
