#YESWECARE: Einladung zur Teilnahme am Lichtermeer für Corona-Opfer am 31. Dezember in der Grazer Innenstadt

5.411.759 Opfer hat die Corona-Pandemie bisher weltweit gefordert, 13.250 waren es allein in Österreich (Stand WHO-Statistik, 30. Dezember 2021, 13 Uhr). Aus diesem Grund gedenkt die Aktion #yeswecare am 31. Dezember 2021 in der Grazer Innenstadt all jenen, die den Kampf gegen das Virus verloren haben, und sie bekundet Solidarität mit dem österreichischen Gesundheitspersonal, das tagein, tagaus im Dienste des Gemeinwohls steht. Die Universität Graz unterstützt diese Veranstaltung und ruft MitarbeiterInnen und Studierende gleichermaßen auf, daran teilzunehmen.

Der Treffpunkt zum „Lichtermeer“ ist um 17.30 Uhr am Ring im Bereich der Oper, wo die Veranstaltung um 18.00 Uhr beginnen wird. Das Veranstaltungsende ist für 18.10 Uhr geplant. Alle TeilnehmerInnen werden gebeten - neben Einhaltung der 3-G-Regel - eine FFP2-Maske zu tragen und auf die Einhaltung eines gewissen Abstandes zu achten. Es wird keine laute Aktion werden, es soll sogar ausdrücklich auf alles verzichtet werden, was laut ist, um in Stille ein Zeichen zu setzen. Je nach TeilnehmerInnen-Anzahl wird die Route dynamisch gewählt, um größtmögliche Sicherheit gewährleisten zu können.

Chemical Christmas show at the University of Graz: An explosive evening at the Schauspielh
