Quanten, außerirdisches Leben oder Klimawandel sind Themen, die die Vortragsreihe Facetten der Physik für ein Laienpublikum beleuchtet. Grafik: Pixabay

Vortragsreihe führt in die Geheimnisse der Physik ein

Um die Suche nach Außerirdischen, den Nobelpreis oder Roboter als Forscher:innen dreht sich die neue Ausgabe der Vortragsreihe „Facetten der Physik“ an der Universität Graz. An vier Mittwochen erhalten interessierte Lai:innen und Schüler:innen spannende Einblicke in wissenschaftliche Themen.

Das Programm im Detail:

19. Oktober 2022: Künstliche Intelligenz in der Materialforschung: Werden Roboter Wissenschafter:innen ersetzen?
Oliver Hofman führt aus, was der Technologie besser gelingt als dem Menschen.

16. November 2022: Exoplaneten in der James-Webb-Ära
Findet das James-Webb-Weltraumteleskop auch extraterrestrisches Leben? Dieser Frage geht Christine Helling nach.

7. Dezember 2022: Nobelpreis Physik 2022
Wie geht Beamen? Herbert Pietschmann, der Lehrer von Nobelpreisträger Anton Zeilinger, erklärt die Quantenmechanik.

18. Jänner 2022: Klimaphysik und Klimawandel: Vom Verstehen zum Handeln
Wo erkennt man die Erderwärmung in der Atmosphäre? Und wie können wir die Pariser Klimaziele erreichen? Julia Danzer klärt über Emissionen und Extreme auf.
