Psychologie Zulassung

Zum achten Mal ging die Zulassungsprüfung für Psychologie an der Uni Graz über die Bühne.

Rund 450 Personen waren gekommen, um einen der 230 Studienplätze zu ergattern.

448 nahmen an der Prüfung in Graz teil. 23 Prozent aus Deutschland

Reibungslos und bestens organisiert ging der Aufnahmetest in Psychologie an der Uni Graz über die Bühne: Insgesamt 448 von ursprünglich 848 angemeldeten BewerberInnen traten heute am 4. September 2012 bei der Zulassungsprüfung fürs Bachelorstudium Psychologie. 348 Frauen und 100 Männer (22 Prozent) nahmen teil, darunter 104 Interessierte aus Deutschland (23 Prozent). Im Vergleich dazu die Zahlen aus dem Vorjahr: Von ursprünglich 619 Angemeldeten absolvierten 384 InteressentInnen den Test an der Uni Graz.


Heißbegehrter Studienplatz
Die 230 besten KandidatInnen werden zum Bachelorstudium Psychologie im Studienjahr 2012/13 zugelassen. Die Reihung der BewerberInnen wird am 21. September 2012 unter www.uni-graz.at/studienzugang veröffentlicht.

What matters in the end: moral theologian takes stock of assisted suicide

Since 1 January 2022, assisted suicide has been legal in Austria under certain conditions. This was made possible by a ruling of the Constitutional Court, which overturned the blanket ban on assisting in suicide. Four years on, it is clear that: “Although the legal framework is in place, many pressing questions remain unanswered when it comes to its practical implementation,” says Johann Platzer, a moral theologian at the University of Graz.

Noise is the signal: new simulation method enables secure communication

Researchers from Graz, Vienna and Munich have developed a new simulation method that makes it possible to calculate quantum light using classical software – a step towards secure quantum communication.
