Premiere für Grazer Wirtschaftsgespräche

Uni Graz startet am 23. April 2013 Diskussionsreihe über Ökonomie und Politik

Verschwimmen die Grenzen von Wirtschaft und Politik? Oder gibt es überwindbare Barrieren? Diesen und weiteren Fragen widmet sich die erste Ausgabe der neuen Veranstaltungsreihe „Grazer Wirtschaftsgespräche“ an der Karl-Franzens-Universität. Der Auftakt erfolgt am 23. April 2013 im Palais Kottulinsky – am Podium diskutieren drei prominente Gäste: Politikwissenschafter und Kommunikationsexperte Peter Filzmaier, Betriebswirt Alfred Gutschelhofer sowie Volkswirt und Finanzwissenschafter Richard Sturn.

Die „Grazer Wirtschaftsgespräche“ sind eine Kooperation des Zentrums für Entrepreneurship und angewandte Betriebswirtschaftslehre und der 7. fakultät, des Zentrums für Gesellschaft, Wissen und Kommunikation.

Zu den Diskutanten:
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Peter Filzmaier studierte Politikwissenschaft und Publizistik in Wien und lehrte an den Universitäten Salzburg, Innsbruck und Klagenfurt. Seit 2005 ist er an der Donau-Universität Krems, seit 2010 auch an der Uni Graz als Professor für Politische Kommunikation tätig.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alfred Gutschelhofer ist Professor im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften und war von 2003 bis 2011 Rektor der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Seit 2011 leitet Gutschelhofer das Institut für Unternehmensführung und Entrepreneurship an der Uni Graz.

Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Richard Sturn hat Volkswirtschaftslehre in Wien studiert. Seit 1983 ist er als Forscher an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz tätig. Seit 2006 leitet Sturn das Institut für Finanzwissenschaft und Öffentliche Wirtschaft.
