Die Sozialleistungen an die Inflation anzupassen, begrüßt Jörn Kleinert vom Institut für Volkswirtschaftslehre der Universität Graz. Skeptisch sieht er hingegen, einen Klimabonus an alle auszuschütten oder die kalte Progression abzuschaffen: „Die Regierung verfällt wieder in die alten Muster. Sie versucht sämtliche Risiken von allen fernzuhalten. Das wird sie auf die Dauer nicht schaffen.“
