Uni Graz lädt zu Aktionstagen zur politischen Bildung

Vor Le Pen warnen? Klimastreiks unterstützen? Auf problematische Pandemie-Entscheidungen hinweisen? Politische Bildung ist in den Schulen wichtiger denn je, doch stellt sie die Lehrpersonen vor ein Dilemma: Wie viel von ihren persönlichen Positionen wollen oder dürfen sie preisgeben? Inwiefern sollen sie neutral bleiben, wann müssen sie Stellung beziehen? „Demokratiepolitisch bedenkliche Standpunkte müssen im Unterricht angesprochen werden“, betont Philipp Mittnik, Vorsitzender der Interessengemeinschaft Politische Bildung. Wie das am besten gelingt, ohne tendenziös zu werden, erklärt er in seinem Vortrag „Was darf die politische Bildung?“ mit anschließendem Kamingespräch am 5. Mai ab 18 Uhr an der Universität Graz.
Die Veranstaltung ist Teil der österreichweiten Aktionstage zur politischen Bildung sowie der Grazer Geschichtsdidaktischen Gespräche.
