Info sessions, taster tours, talks with students and lecturers: All this and much more awaits you on 13 April 2023 at the joint Open Day of the University of Graz, the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and Graz University of Technology .
The Matura certificate is within reach. Application deadlines are getting closer and closer. The decision to study should be made soon. With the annual joint Open Day, the three Graz universities support pupils in their choice of studies. After the corona-related online versions in recent years, this year it is finally taking place in presence again.
Those who have already made up their minds or are still deciding between several options can find out details about studies and admission regulations at lectures, guided tours, workshops or information stands between 9 am and 4 pm. Pupils and interested parties will get an overview of the university education on offer in Austria's second-largest study city. Teachers and parents are also invited to gather information during institute and campus tours.
Start at nine o'clock
The University of Graz and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz will welcome interested parties together at 9 a.m. in the lecture hall HS 62.01 at Universitätsplatz 3a. At Graz University of Technology, the welcome will take place at the same time in lecture hall i13 at Inffeldgasse 16b. Afterwards, free shuttle buses will take those interested from campus to campus.
At the University of Graz, the Open Day will take place around Universitätsplatz 3a. Until 4 p.m., there will be general advice stands on choosing a degree programme, financial matters, semesters abroad, etc., as well as the unique opportunity to talk to lecturers and students of the degree programme of your choice. Workshops, lectures and guided tours start at 9:50 am. The selection is large. A total of more than 90 information events are offered to get to know the studies and studying, to try out research and science and to discover the campus. Prospective students can, for example, visit the Astronomical Tower, experience a trial courtroom or take part in an economics experiment. Afternoon highlight: the Science Busters show in lecture hall 62.01 - free of charge!
