Nachhaltiges Forschungstreffen: PhD-Studierende und die Organisatoren des Workshops in Utrecht.

Erfolgreicher PhD-Workshop von drei Partneruniversitäten in Utrecht

Rupert Baumgartner vom Institut für Systemwissenschaften, Innovations- und Nachhaltigkeitsforschung organisierte gemeinsam mit seinem Utrechter Kollegen Walter Vermeulen sowie Tomas Ramos von der Universität Lissabon den ersten Joint-PhD-Workshop zum Thema Nachhaltigkeitsforschung im betrieblichen und regionalen Kontext. Doktoratsstudierende aus verschiedenen Ländern präsentierten ihre aktuellen Forschungsergebnisse und bekamen von ihren KollegInnen und den ProfessorInnen professionelles Feedback. Darüber hinaus wurden neue Ideen, Forschungsansätze und -methoden diskutiert. "Das Außergewöhnliche an der Veranstaltung war, dass die Studierenden die Gelegenheit hatten, die Arbeiten ihrer KollegInnen zu reviewen", berichtet Baumgartner. Weiters bot der Workshop eine gute Gelegenheit für Studierende wie ProfessorInnen, intensive Forschungskontakte zu knüpfen und die universitäre Partnerschaft zu vertiefen.
