Tagung an der Uni Graz entführt in die Welt der ästhetischen und dämonischen Illusion

Die Kunst der Täuschung, die Kunst zu täuschen: Illusion hat in der Welt von Literatur und Theater eine lange Tradition. Eine Tagung an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, die dieser Tage über die Bühne geht und vom Team rund um Univ.-Prof. Dr. Kirsten Dickhaut vom Institut für Romanistik organisiert wurde, beschäftigt sich mit diesem Thema; besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf den "Status und die Bedeutung von ästhetischer und dämonischer Illusion in der Frühen Neuzeit (1400 bis 1700) in Italien und Frankreich" gelegt. Auftakt der Veranstaltung war der Abendvortrag des Kölner Professors für Romanistik, Dr. Andreas Kablitz, der über Magie und Epistemologie referierte. Feierlich eröffnet wurde die Tagung im Mehrzwecksaal im Wall-Zentrum in der Merangasse von GEWI-Dekan Lukas Meyer, der in seiner kurzen Rede die Interdisziplinarität der Veranstaltung hervorhob und die Bedeutung für die Geisteswissenschaften betonte. Besucht wurde der Kongress von internationalen ExpertInnen.
