Farbstoffe aus Pflanzen extrahieren können neugierige BesucherInnen heute ab 17 Uhr im neuen Chemie-Gebäude der Uni Graz.

In der Langen Nacht der Forschung bietet die Uni Graz auch für junges Publikum Wissenschaft zum Mitmachen

Wie komme ich dem Fett auf die Spur? Was verraten Zähne über den Menüplan? Wie sehen Pflanzen im Inneren aus? WissenschafterInnen der Uni Graz zeigen gemeinsam mit Einstein-Junior und der KinderUniGraz dem jungen Publikum, was sich alles rund ums Thema Essen erforschen lässt. Am Universitätsplatz 1 im Untergeschoß können die BesucherInnen heute ab 17 Uhr erkunden, welche Lebensmittel Fettflecken hinterlassen. Mit einem Blick ins Mikroskop darf man sich die einzelnen Zellen von bestimmten Gewächsen anschauen oder Farbstoffe aus Pflanzenteilen extrahieren. Zur Stärkung können Kinder auch Müsliriegel herstellen und sich im Foyer im Erdgeschoß an der Kreation einer mittelalterlichen Süßigkeit versuchen.
