Handbuch der Uni Graz zu praxistauglichen Konzepten zur Förderung des Kompetenzerwerbs

Seitenweise Know-how zur Lehr-Lern-Forschung liefern WissenschafterInnen der Uni Graz im druckfrischen „Handbuch Kompetenzorientierter Unterricht“, herausgegeben von Manuela Paechter, Michaela Stock, Sabine Schmölzer-Eibinger, Peter Slepcevic-Zach, Wolfgang Weirer (Hrsg.) Der interdisziplinäre Sammelband, zugleich auch „Leistungsschau“ des Forschungsschwerpunktes Lernen – Bildung – Wissen, zeigt praxistaugliche Konzepte zur Förderung des Kompetenzerwerbs auf und greift die aktuelle bildungspolitische Diskussion auf.

Im Zuge von Schulleistungsstudien wurden in den letzten Jahren zahlreiche Konzepte entwickelt, wie man insbesondere fachliche Kompetenzen messen und erfassen kann. Wie aber sieht ein Unterricht aus, der die Lernvoraussetzungen der SchülerInnen berücksichtigt und ihren Kompetenzerwerb unterstützt? Diese und weitere Fragen beantworten die AutorInnen: „Zur Kompetenz gehört mehr als nur Wissen in einem Fach oder einem Bereich. Kompetenz umfasst auch das Bewusstsein für das eigene Lernen und Arbeiten, für die Kommunikation und Kooperation mit anderen Personen, verantwortungsvolles Handeln sowie die Motivation und Bereitschaft, das eigene Können und Wissen im  jeweiligen Kontext adäquat einzusetzen und zu erweitern.“

Das Buch ist im Beltz-Verlag erschienen.
