Ausstellung des Botanischen Gartens der Karl-Franzens-Universität entführt in die Tropen Costa Ricas

Faszination Tropen: Die Wunderwelt der Regenwälder macht derzeit Station im Botanischen Garten der Uni Graz. Eine Wanderausstellung zeigt die berauschende Vegetation und das spannende Tierreich Costa Ricas. Hautnah können BesucherInnen südamerikanische „Gäste“, wie den Grünen Leguan, Gartenboas oder Pfeilgiftfrösche, erleben und sich über diese beeindruckenden Amphibien und Reptilien informieren.

Die Schau macht aber auch auf die ernste Bedrohung, die der Mensch für die atemberaubend schöne Welt der Tropen darstellt, aufmerksam. Verschiedene örtliche Forschungs- und Sozialprojekte werden zudem vorgestellt.

Die Ausstellung "Regenwaldpfade – Tropenstation La Gamba in Costa Rica" ist im Botanischen Garten der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, Schubertstraße 51, zu sehen und läuft noch bis 30. April 2013. Der Eintritt ist frei.

Öffnungszeiten: Täglich, auch an Wochenenden und Feiertagen, von 10 bis 14 Uhr.
