Den Auftakt zum Multikulti-Ball bildet ein Vortrag der Nahost-Expertin Karin Kneissl am Freitag im Literaturhaus

Es waren die drei Begriffe "Würde, Freiheit und Gerechtigkeit", die auf den Postern und in den Sprechchören von Tunis bis in den Jemen im Vorjahr von rebellierenden Menschen ständig wiederholt wurden. Gerechtigkeit hat im Arabischen und in der Tradition politischer Bewegungen einen festen Stellenwert.

Am Vorabend des 15. Multikultiballs, der am 30. Juni 2012 traditionell an der Uni Graz über die Bühne gehen wird, laden die Organisatoren zur "multikultiakademie" in das Grazer Literaturhaus ein. Im Mittelpunkt dieses Abends steht ein Vortrag der Diplomatin, Journalistin und Nahost-Expertin Dr. Karin Kneissl, die die Revolution im arabischen Raum genauer unter die Lupe nehmen wird. Kneissl ist auch Ehrengast am Multikulti-Ball.
