Die Molekulare Küche serviert einen neuen Kurs rund um süß, sauer, bitter und salzig

Es ist angerichtet: Die Molekulare Küche der Uni Graz serviert ab sofort ein neues Modul, bei dem sich alles um die Geschmacksempfindungen – süß, sauer, bitter, salzig – dreht. Molekularer „Chefkoch“ Dr. Fritz Treiber hat das neue Kursangebot gemeinsam mit Mag. Anneliese Erhart entwickelt. Die frischgebackene Lehramts-Absolventin hat ihre Diplomarbeit aus Biologie über „Geschmack – das Problem mit der Vielfalt“ verfasst.

„Süß ist nicht gleich süß, wenn wir Stevia, Birkenzucker und Süßstoff genauer unter die Lupe nehmen“, erklärt Treiber. Und die TeilnehmerInnen des Pilotkurses ließen nichts anbrennen. Mit großer Begeisterung wurde gekocht, gebacken, getrocknet – und natürlich verkostet.

Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage hat die Molekulare Küche im Wintersemester 2013/14 insgesamt elf neue Kurse mit drei verschiedenen Modulen: Basiskurs, Fortgeschrittenenkurs, Geschmacksmodul in ihr Menü-Programm aufgenommen. Anmeldungen sind ab sofort möglich! >> Mehr Info
