Gemeinsam in Orange

Die vier Grazer Universitäten bekennen sich in einem gemeinsamen Erklärung zu einem klaren Nein gegenüber sexueller Belästigung, geschlechtsbezogener Gewalt und Machtmissbrauch.

Die Universität Graz, die TU Graz, die Med Uni Graz und die Kunstuniversität Graz setzen im Rahmen der internationalen Aktion „Orange the World – 16 Tage gegen Gewalt an Frauen“ ein starkes Zeichen: Als Bildungs- und Forschungsstätten übernehmen sie Verantwortung für sichere, respektvolle und chancengerechte Lern- und Arbeitsbedingungen.

Mit ihrem gemeinsamen Aufruf bekräftigen sie ihr dauerhaftes Engagement für Gleichstellung, Vielfalt und Solidarität. Sexismus, Diskriminierung und jede Form von Gewalt haben an den Universitäten keinen Platz. Die Hochschulen setzen gezielt auf Prävention, bieten anonyme und kostenfreie Beratungsangebote, fördern Sensibilisierung durch Workshops und Schulungen und stärken gezielt ihre internen Strukturen – von Gleichstellungsplänen bis zu klaren Verhaltenskodizes.
