Freie Sitzplatzwahl im neuen Alumni-Hörsaal

Sessel mit dem persönlichen Lieblingsjahr stiften, Aktionswoche vom 3. bis 10. März

Ab Herbst 2016 wird die Universitätsbibliothek Graz großzügig umgebaut und auch um einen großen Hörsaal erweitert. Dazu wurde eine österreichweit einzigartige Alumni-Fundraising-Kampagne initiiert: Analog zum mehr als 430-jährigen Bestehen der Karl-Franzens-Universität können AbsolventInnen dieselbe Anzahl von Sitzplätzen stiften. InteressentInnen erwerben dazu auf einer Webseite einen Sessel um 280 Euro mit Namensnennung und Lieblings-Zitat. Ausgehend vom Gründungsjahr der Uni Graz 1585 wurden bislang 113 Plätze – damit bis zum Jahr 1697 – vergeben. Auch zahlreiche prominente Alumni, darunter Tiergarten-Schönbrunn-Direktorin Dagmar Schratter und Unternehmerin Waltraud Schinko-Neuroth, haben sich bereits ihre Plätze gesichert. Nun gibt es eine Woche lang freie Sitzplatzwahl.

Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage wird das chronologische System für eine Woche geöffnet. StifterInnen können sich ihr Lieblingsjahr zwischen 1698 und 2015 auswählen. Von Donnerstag, 3. März, bis 10. März 2016 haben AbsolventInnen und Freunde der Uni Graz exklusiv die Gelegenheit, einen Sitzplatz nach ihrer Wahl zu stiften. Ganz egal, ob es um das Studienabschlussjahr, das Geburtsjahr oder ein persönlich wichtiges Jahr handelt. Natürlich kann man auch jemandem, der in seinem Leben eine besondere Rolle spielt, einen Sitzplatz widmen.

Die Aktionswoche der freien Sitzplatzwahl im Alumni-Hörsaal läuft einmalig und beginnt am 3. März 2016 um 10 Uhr auf der Webseite: 430sesselfuerunigraz.at
