Klimaschutz-Ministerin holte sich neues Wissen von der Uni Graz

Klimaschutz-Ministerin Leonore Gewessler und Sandra Krautwaschl, Klubobfrau der steirischen Grünen, bauen auf die Expertise der WissenschafterInnen der Universität Graz. Bei ihrem Besuch im Wegener Center heute Vormittag erkundigten sie sich nach dem neuesten Stand der Forschungen und diskutierten mit Andrea Steiner, Gottfried Kirchengast und Karl Steininger die Möglichkeiten der Umsetzung. Besonders interessierten sich die beiden Politikerinnen für das Klimaschutz-Management, das die Uni Graz als erste österreichische Universität etabliert hat und anderen Unternehmen sowie Institutionen zugänglich macht. Weiters sagten Gewessler und Krautwaschl Unterstützung für ein Projekt zu, im Zuge dessen die Landwirtschaft mit geänderten Anbau-Strategien Treibhausgase speichern soll.
