Von Ethik 4.0 bis Urheberrecht: Themenvielfalt im Doktoratsprogramm Human Factor in Digital Transformation

Digitale Technologien machen die Autoreise zum Fahr- und Multimediaerlebnis für LenkerInnen und Passagiere. Digitale Technologien helfen bei der Entscheidungsfindung von SchiedsrichterInnen im Fußballspiel. Doch was meist übersehen wird, ist die Rolle des Individuums. So entlastend Digitalisierung auch sein mag, der Faktor Mensch darf bei der Kalkulation nicht fehlen. Im Forschungsnetzwerk „Human Factor in Digital Transformation“ untersuchen WissenschafterInnen beinahe aller Fakultäten der Uni Graz die Rolle des Menschen in diesen Prozessen, und sie machen aufmerksam, dass die kritische Instanz zwar entlastet werden kann, aber unersetzlich ist. Junge ForscherInnen arbeiten im gleichnamigen Doktoratsprogramm zu Themen, die Politik und Gesellschaft auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene beschäftigen. Wie gehen wir mit Urheberrechtsfragen auf EU-Ebene um, wenn es unterschiedliche nationale Grenzen gibt? Oder: Wie beeinflussen uns technologische Veränderungen? 14 DissertantInnen erhielten nun das Abschlusszertifikat des Doktoratsprogramms. Netzwerk-Sprecher und Volkswirt Jörn Kleinert sowie IT-Rechts-Expertin Elisabeth Staudegger übergaben die Zeugnisse persönlich.
