ForscherInnen diskutieren am Center for Accounting Research

Ein Ende der Folgen der globalen Finanzkrise ist noch immer nicht in Sicht. Auch wenn seitdem viele Maßnahmen gesetzt wurden, das Risiko für neue Finanzkrisen ist weiter existent. An der Uni Graz widmen sich am 4. und 5. November 2015 hochkarätige WissenschafterInnen diesem international brisanten Thema. Die Österreichische Forschungsgemeinschaft und das Center for Accounting Research der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz laden zu einem internationalen Workshop, bei dem vor allem die Rolle des Rechnungswesens für den Finanzmarkt im Mittelpunkt steht.

Den Auftakt des wissenschaftlichen Symposiums macht eine öffentliche Podiumsdiskussion am 4. November 2015 um 17 Uhr bei freiem Eintritt im RESOWI-Zentrum, Sitzungszimmer 15.21, 2. Stock, Bauteil A. Unter dem Titel „Accounting, Information, and Financial Crises” diskutieren Stefan Bruckbauer (Bank Austria), Robert Bushman (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) und Marco Pagano (Universität Neapel).
