Die Excellence-Messe am 11. November organisiert die Uni Graz heuer erstmals alleinig

Die EXCELLENCE ist die Karrieremesse für Studierende und AbsolventInnen der Karl-Franzens-Universität. Heuer findet sie am 11. November in der Aula bei freiem Eintritt statt. Da die Uni Graz das event heuer erstmalig allein organisiert, warten dieses Mal einige interessante Neuerungen auf die BesucherInnen: Unter anderem präsentiert sich – neben einer Vielzahl von top Unternehmen aus verschiedenen Branchen – auch die Universität Graz als attraktive Arbeitgeberin.

Der bewährte Austausch zwischen Firmen und Studierenden, die kurz vor dem Abschluss stehen, wird dieses Mal noch stärker forciert: Nach dem Tagesprogramm gibt es die Gelegenheit, im einzigartigen Ambiente des Lesesaals der Universitätsbibliothek ganz persönliche Gespräche mit erfolgreichen UnternehmerInnen zu ihren Karrierewegen zu führen. Dazu kommen mehr als 23 Vorträge am Messetag, die Berufsfelder, Trends und Branchen-Tipps vermiteln.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

From trans women and knee prostheses: sports science prizes awarded

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
