Nächste Woche startet die Anmeldung für die erstmals vierwöchige SommerKinderUni

Der Sommer ist früher da, als man denkt, und die Kinder wollen auch in schulfreien Zeiten gut versorgt sein. Eine Möglichkeit der Betreuung ist die SommerKinderUni, die heuer erstmals vier statt nur drei Wochen lang stattfinden wird - vom 13. Juli bis zum 7. August 2015. Kinder von 8 bis 14 Jahren können am Sommerbetreuungsprogramm täglich von 8 bis 17 Uhr teilnehmen. Der Vormittag startet mit einem Frühstück, danach erleben die Kinder und Jugendlichen einen studentischen Alltag bei Workshops und spannende Exkursionen. Nach einem gemeinsamen Mittagessen geht es weiter zum Sportprogramm.

Kosten: Pro Woche und Kind fällt ein Unkostenbeitrag an. Dieser beträgt 70 Euro für Bedienstete und Studierende der acht Grazer Universitäten und Hochschulen. Für Geschwisterkinder gibt es heuer erstmals eine 10%-Ermäßigung!

Anmeldung: Die Anmeldung erfolgt ausschließlich online über die Homepage der KinderUniGraz: www.kinderunigraz.at, für Angehörige der acht Grazer Unis und Hochschulen startet sie am 4. Mai 2015 und ist nur mit einer gültigen Uni/FH-Email-Adresse möglich! Buchen kann man eine, zwei, drei oder alle vier Wochen - es ist zum Beispiel auch möglich, nur die erste und dritte Woche zu buchen. Das Programm ist vor Anmeldestart online abrufbar.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
