Heute startet das Ferialpraktikum an der Uni Graz für einige der SchülerInnen und MaturantInnen

Die FerialarbeiterInnen wurden heute im Seminargarten des Personalressorts empfangen

Nach dem Vorjahreserfolg des Pilotprojektes "FAN" (FerialArbeitNehmerInnen) beschäftigt die Universität Graz auch in diesem Sommer wieder 43 FerialarbeiterInnen. Am heutigen Tag beginnt für die ersten von ihnen eine vierwöchige Praxis im wissenschaftlichen Bereich und in ausgewählten Verwaltungsservices. Im Seminargarten des Personalressorts hieß Vizerektor Peter Riedler, Personalleiter Kurt-Martin Lugger und Projektverantwortliche Susanne Hausleitner die SchülerInnen und MaturantInnen ab 15 Jahren willkommen, daraufhin folgte ein erstes Kennenlernen zwischen jenen und ihren BetreuerInnen.

Durch das Projekt soll die Universität Graz für junge Menschen erfahrbar und das Interesse an der Uni als Arbeitgeberin und Studienort geweckt werden. Für die Institute und Abteilungen ergibt sich die Möglichkeit ihre Fachbereiche zu präsentieren und von der jungen Außenperspektive zu profitieren.

Im Sommer 2020 erhielt Andrea Zmölnig Einblicke in die Berufswelt an der Uni Graz. Im Videointerview erzählt sie von ihren Erfahrungen und wie sie durch den Ferialjob zur Studentischen Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Zivilverfahrensrecht und Insolvenzrecht wurde.
