Portugiesische Fassung des Manual on Human Rights Education mit Uni-Graz-Beteiligung präsentiert

Im Rahmen einer Tagung der Menschenrechtsmechanismen der portugiesischsprachigen Länder in Lissabon konnte Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Benedek vom Institut für Völkerrechte und Internationale Beziehungen der Uni Graz gemeinsam mit Univ.-Prof. Vital Moreira vom Menschenrechtszentrum der Universität von Coimbra die portugiesische Fassung des von Benedek im Rahmen des ETC - Europäisches Trainings- und Forschungszentrum für Menschenrechte und Demokratie - Graz herausgegebenen Handbuchs für Menschenrechtsbildung vorstellen. Auch der Vertrag über die kostenlose Überlassung des Copyright wurde in Lissabon unterzeichnen.

Portugiesisch ist bereits die 15. Sprache, in der das weltweit genutzte Handbuch erscheint. Übersetzungen in das Türkische und Italienische sind im Gange, ebenso eine auch von der Stadt Graz unterstützte Neuübersetzung in die arabische Sprache.
