  1. Failure to pass an entrance or admission procedure or the introductory and orientation phase in another degree programme, provided the result for the winter semester is not available until after 31 August;
  2. Obtaining of the general university entrance qualification for the winter semester only after 31 August;
  3. In the case of civilian servants, persons doing military service, persons doing training service and persons doing a voluntary social year, provided that the service was performed or a call-up existed on 31 August and the service was not commenced later or was discontinued or interrupted before the end of the grace period;
  4. If it is credibly shown that the performance of the admission within the general admission period was prevented by an unforeseen or unavoidable event.
