Felix Fischer hatte heute seinen ersten Tag als Lehrling an der Uni.

Im September starten zwölf neue Lehrlinge ihre Ausbildung an der Uni Graz

Die Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz ist nicht nur eine international renommierte Lehr- und Forschungsstätte für mehr als 30.000 Studierende und Arbeitgeberin für 3.800 MitarbeiterInnen, sondern bildet seit 1982 auch erfolgreich Lehrlinge aus. Mit heutigem Datum starten traditionell zwölf junge Menschen ihre Ausbildung an der Uni Graz, 39 sind es insgesamt.

Waren es anfangs noch vier, sind es mittlerweile elf Lehrberufe, die man an der größten Hochschule der Steiermark lernen kann. Darunter sind etwa Archiv-, Bibliotheks-, Informations- und VerwaltungsassistentIn, Chemielaborantin oder etwa ElektrotechnikerIn sowie GärtnerIn.

Felix Fischer, 15 Jahre alt, hatte heute seinen ersten Arbeitstag im Personalressort der Uni Graz, wo er in den nächsten drei Jahren zum Verwaltungsassistenten ausgebildet wird. "Ich habe mich bei mehreren Unternehmen beworben, doch hier an der Universität habe ich mich gleich wohlgefühlt", erzählt der frischgebackene Lehrling.

Weiterbildung
Lehrlinge an der Uni Graz müssen im Rahmen ihrer Ausbildung auch Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten wie etwa Arbeitssicherheit, Suchtprävention und Teambuilding absolvieren. Ebenfalls ein Muss: Englischkurse am treffpunkt sprachen⁫ - Zentrum für Sprache, Plurilingualismus und Fachdidaktik.
