Die Lehrlingsausbilderin

15 der 28 Lehrlinge an der Uni Graz feierten ihren Abschluss

Sie sind jung, erfolgreich und in einer Lehre an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz: 28 junge Menschen lassen sich derzeit an der Uni Graz unter anderem zur/zum GärtnerIn, IT-TechnikerinIn oder ChemielabortechnikerIn ausbilden. 15 von ihnen schließen bis zum Herbst ihre Ausbildung ab. Vizerektorin Renate Dworczak und das Personalressort der Uni sagten mit einer kleinen Abschlussfeier: "Dankeschön".

 

"Ich möchte mich bei Ihnen für den Einsatz und das Engagement bedanken. Das gilt für Sie wie auch für Ihre AusbilderInnen", eröffnete die Vizerektorin für Personal, Personalentwicklung und Gleichstellung, Renate Dworczak, die Abschlussfeier. Besonders wurden die herausragenden Leistungen der Lehrlinge hervorgehoben: Drei schloßen die Berufsschule mit "ausgezeichnetem", acht mit "gutem" Erfolg ab. "Es war wieder ein gutes erfolgreiches Jahr für alle", betonte auch Mag. Stefan Kastl, Leiter der Personalentwicklung. 

 

Die Universität Graz bildet von der Lehrlingsausbildung über das Studium bis hin zur Weiterbildung das gesamte Spektrum ab; ab 1. September 2012 sind 13 neue Lehrlinge am Start und beginnen an der größten Hochschule der Steiermark ihre Lehre.

The Austrian Science Fund FWF has selected the Doctoral Programme in Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Graz for funding from the Doc.funds. Six young scientists will be funded for 3.5 years. They will gain fundamentally new insights into the origins of the world.

From trans women and knee prostheses: sports science prizes awarded

Walking better with a prosthesis, successfully getting rid of excess weight, training more effectively, more fairness for trans people in sport: these were the topics addressed by the students at the University of Graz who were awarded the sports science prizes for their Master's theses on 3 December 2025.
