Vier neue Webradio-Beiträge sind zum Wochenstart online

Das Webradio der Grazer Universitäten präsentiert jeden Montag vier neue Informationsbeiträge auf http://webradio.uni-graz.at. Diese Woche berichten wir unter anderem, wie die Frauenstipendien der Uni Graz Wissenschafterinnen fördern, gehen auf die Spuren von Anselm Hüttenbrenner, geben einen Vorgeschmack auf die neue TU-Mensa Inffeldgasse und verraten, warum Graz Ende Mai zum Treffpunkt für Medizin-Studierende aus aller Welt wird.

Der Uni-Graz-Beitrag:

Am 23. Mai werden an der Uni Graz die Frauenstipendien vergeben. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren fördern diese Wissenschafterinnen beim Abschluss ihrer Masterarbeiten oder Dissertationen. Heuer erhält Anita Tändl als eine von fünf Stipendiatinnen die Förderung für ihre Forschungen zur Frage, warum Mädchen Kfz-Mechanikerinnen werden möchten. Im Webradio verrät sie mehr dazu.

If ants ingest the substance in combination with the pesticide glyphosate, it disturbs the development of their offspring. Scientists at the University of Graz are drawing attention to the negative consequences of this toxic cocktail.
