Universität Graz und Medizin Uni Graz verlängern Kooperationsvertrag für drei weitere Jahre

Seit 2007 gibt es ihn, den Kooperationsvertrag zwischen der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz und Medizinischen Universität Graz. Darin geregelt sind ausnahmsweise keine Forschungsthemen, sondern die Bündelung von Verwaltungsressourcen zwischen den beiden Universitäten. Nach der Autonomie der Medizinischen Universität Graz im Jahre 2004 gab es zwar eine Trennung der Lehre und Forschung; es blieben aber noch Institute – vor allem im vorklinischen Bereich – am Campus der Uni Graz ansässig. So werden seitdem die Services Haustechnik, Betreuung der Infrastruktur, Werkstätten, Hausdruckerei, Kopierstelle, Telefonanlage, HausarbeiterInnen und Parkplatzinstandhaltung gemeinsam genutzt. Der Vertrag wurde vom Vizerektor für Ressourcen und Standortentwicklung, Dr. Peter Riedler (Uni Graz) und dem Universitätsdirektor der Medizinischen Universität Graz, MMAg. Gerald Lackner, für drei weitere Jahre verlängert.
