Barefoot Worldcup

Die Teilnehmenden des Barefoot World Cup 2011.

Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern und verschiedener sozialer Herkunft am Campus der Uni Graz im Rahmen eines Fußballturniers zusammenzubringen – das ist Ziel des Barefoot Worldcup Fußballturniers, das heuer zum dritten Mal auf der Wiese vor der Vorklinik stattfinden wird. Es verfolgt keinen kommerziellen Zweck, so die Organisatoren, und wird vom Vizerektorat für Studium und Lehre der Uni Graz großzügig unterstützt.

Am Freitag, dem 25. Mai 2012, ab 12 Uhr, treffen sich die Teams, die aus je vier SpielerInnen bestehen. Sie spielen barfuß auf kleine Tore. „Im Gegensatz zum Vorjahr wird es heuer gleich drei Damenteams geben; eines besteht aus Professorinnen der rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät, die anderen beiden aus Assistentinnen“, erzählt Mag. Matthias Petritsch, neben Mag. Christoph Hofstätter, Thomas Leitner und Andreas Salentinig, Bakk., einer der Organisatoren des Turniers.

Nach dem Spaß steht das leibliche Wohl am Programm: Ab 17 Uhr lässt ein Grillmeister keine Wünsche offen.
